Hadley's apt went very well yesterday in Chicago. They x-rayed her back in her brace this time to make sure it was holding her spine where it needed to be and it was. She measured at 13 degrees and last time she was 12 so she only went up one degree, which is awesome!
We will go back in 4 months and he will x-ray her back without her brace to make sure her spine doesn't progress when the brace is taken off. She will have to be out of her brace 48 hours before that x-ray to see the real results of what her spine does without the brace. So, at this point, we know the brace is doing it's job, but next time is the true test to see what her back does without the brace; whether it stays or it falls back to it's curve.
So far, so good though :) After that 4 months of getting an x-ray out of brace, we'll have 4 more months to go if all goes well and could be home free. Isn't that amazing?!
They were talking at Hadley's apt and she sure is a miracle with her success! That's all God! :)
Shauna: "Too Cute!"
ReplyDeleteLove the feet shot - you have become quite the photographer: was convinced, that was Stock Image from the online world - until Ash pointed out the feet! (Not to mention yer bathroom shots...they could be in a magazine! & the children photography, well, has ALWAYS been beautiful - but your composition is really special.) By the way - 'Busy Mom-Log' - Hahaha! Im starting to know what you mean :) coffe in the cereal! funny! Yeah w/ the kids & work (& my ceaseless imagination) i often find myself in strange places with strange objects in my hand & asking myself,'What am I doing!?' amongst an entourage of laughing, playing, crying, yelling & smiling children! :) life is truly beautiful! Praise the Lord.
