The new bathroom
No more brown gross tile, scratched linoleum floor, brown cold porcelian tub, yucky brown vanity, and huge medicine cabinet that took up the whole bathroom! Our new bathroom is FINALLY done! I can't say remodeling the bathroom was smooth and stress free, but I can say it looks awesome and we love the new look! Andy put in a lot of hard working hours and it paid off! It's literally a new bathroom! New vanity, new medicine cabinet, new bath and shower, new floor, new walls, new wood work, new towel racks, new toilet paper holder, and new shower curtain! And the woodwork is white, which leaves us feeling fresh and clean! :) We love the color, which is vibrant and also gives a clean feeling! Over all, despite all the stress and work, we are very happy with our new bathroom!

Grady
GRADY

Grady is now 5 1/2 months old wearing 12 month clothing! He weighs 17 lbs exactly!(this is what the girls weighed at 1 yr) He is all boy! We are enjoying every second of him being our baby.
Here are a few up to date facts about him:
-He smiles the second you look at him, even if he's crabby.
-He giggles at the touch of his tummy... very ticklish!
-He giggles every time you wipe his little butt
-He no longer will stay on his back if you lay him down; he rolls right over to his tummy!
-He even tries to crawl in reach for a toy, even though he can't move yet.
-He can roll from his tummy to his back and from his back to his tummy
-When he doesn't want to be bothered by the rough playing sisters, he'll cry and get mad even if they come by him(not usually the case though).
-He's pretty sesitive when he gets bonked or hurt
-He's a definite Mama's boy :)
-He does not like to sleep in his crib!
-He talks up a storm throughout the day
-He blows bubbles with his lips
-He's got the chunkiest cutest little thighs I have ever seen!
-He loves to play with his feet
-He always has his hands in his mouth chewing on his fingers
-He can sit up all by himself, but falls easily and kinda leans forward
-He is very interested in what everybody is doing... I can't even nurse him anymore without him being so distracted on whats going on in that room
-He picks up and holds toys very easily now
-He doesn't like to be by himself for too long before he gets upset
-He loves his cereal and lets you know when he's hungry
He is our special little boy! :)

Gotta get clean
Not having a shower the past few wks has been difficult, but we made due! We went to my parents every couple days to shower, but on those days we couldn't get over there, we had to bathe in the sink. Hadley and Grady was no problem, Mia was a bit more of a squeeze, but we did it! It sure is nice to have a shower again though!

Oops, we forgot the diaper bag
One night last wk, we went over to my parents to shower since our shower has been out of order. After washing all the kids up in the tub, we realized we forgot the diaper bag.... So, we searched high and low for an extra diaper at Grandma's house, but had no luck.
We had no choice, but to get creative! What you see in the picture is Grady wearing a dog training pad that my dad used with his new hunting puppy a couple months ago. I folded it up and taped it on Grady! Of course as soon as we got it on him, we left knowing we didnt have much time before we had a big mess! Fortanetely, we did make it home with no leaking even though he did wet it! Looks pretty silly, but it worked! From now on though, I think I'll keep a few extra diapers in the car for emergency's!

Snow play
While Grady naps, the girls and I like to take advantage and get out to play in the snow. Most of the time, we'd just play on the swing set and run around, but we've also been able to make a tunnel and a snowman as well. There sure has been enough snow to do it with :)
Hadley likes to eat the snow! As long as it's not yellow brown, I'm ok with it :)
