11 wk check up
I am now 13 wks pregnant and starting the 2nd trimester. I don't have too many complaints, but this pregnancy sure has been different than the girls'. It's hard not knowing what to expect with this one, but it's doable. Not too much sickness, some tiredness, and a lot of lack of motivation. We had a bit of a scare last wk with some spotting, but it lasted less than a day and for reassurance I did go to the doctor and heard the baby's heart beat. Apparently it can be quite common though I did not think so because I did not ever experience that before. My last apt was about 2 wks ago and baby's heart beat was strong as ever. Such an amazing sound! So weird to know theres something living in me, but such a miracle! My next apt is in a couple wks when I am 15 wks. I can hardly wait for the ultra sound, which will be in May.

Hadley's in a big girl bed
Hadley finally moved into a toddler bed a little while ago. She loves it. She still sleeps really good and stays in her bed till I come get her. She did however figure out she can slide through a hole on the end to get out if she wanted to, but she only has done that once or twice when she wakes up. I can't believe our baby is in a big girl bed!

Shriner's Circus
Almost a month ago, we took the girls to the Shriner Circus. What better way could we spend our money than to support the people who support us! Shriners by the way still pays for our gas, hotel, and all hospital costs. The circus was great! The best part though was being able to meet the Individual Shriner that takes care of Hadley's case. I call him every time we head to Chicago and he sets everything up for us. If we needed a ride, he'd be the one to drive us. He really was an amazing guy. Just loved the girls! It really was a privelage for finally personally meet him. I just wanted to give him a great big hug and say thank you over and over and over again! I dont know what we'd do without Shriners!
Ps. As you see, Mia has tears in her eyes, it is not because of him.... right before this she was so excited to jump in the jumpy thing, but once we got her in there, she was so scared because there were way too many kids jumping, so she came right out.

Hadley's 1st Haircut
Hadley had her first hair cut a couple wks ago. I just haven't had time to post anything about it. We took her to the place where we take Mia. She got to sit in a red car and watch Elmo. She didn't move a bit! Literally! I don't think she knew what was going on. We just cut off a bit in the back to straighten it up and make it even. Now were going to let it grow so it doesnt always get tucked in her cast. I think overall, Mia was more excited than Hadley :)

God's Gift
The word is out: God has blessed our little family of 4 with a new coming addition. We are soon to be a family of 5 :)
About 3 wks ago, I was "late" and I am very regular. I wanted to wait until I was at least 3 days behind before I took a test. I didn't tell Andy because I wanted to surprise him if I was pregnant. So, Day 3 of being late finally came and after going to my MOPS group, I ran to the store with the girls and got a test. Then I ran home quick and took it and sure enough.... it was positive!

So after I starred at it for a long time making sure it was really positive, I wrapped it up and took it to Andy's work and dropped it off and the front desk. He called me about an hour later all excited! We decided to wait until my first ultra sound to tell everybody the good news. And that ultra sound was last Friday Feb. 6th.

Everything went well at my first apt. I was 7 wks and 2 days. And the baby was 1 cm long. So tiny. It is such a miracle something that little forms into a human being.
So far, this pregnancy feels a little different than the girls. I don't have the same symptoms as I did with them. I'm just wondering if were having a boy this time. I guess we'll see :)
Me at 7 wks: ( I will post pics as I grow)

Our Dancing Queen
We have in our house a little Dancing Queen and her name is Mianna Grace Rorabeck!
She is also our little Drama Queen, but we wont focus on that one! ;)
Mianna LOVES to dance. We have a Children's dance party mix with all her fav. dance songs such as: It's Electric, YMCA, Macarena, Baby Hands up, and more I can't think of. A lot of old fun songs :)
I have to say right now though, her favorite dance routine is my mom's movie, "Richard Simmons." Every time we go there, thats the first thing she wants to do. We actually are borrowing it right now at our house. Its actually a fun dance work out video! :) I need to get a video of her doing that one becuase it is so funny. She does a good job doing all of the moves they do and following along!
I thought I'd share some of her expressions while she is dancing to her CD. She is such a character. She definitely comes alive when dancing. A piece of her most of you probably have never seen!
You will see in a lot of the pictures, she does actions to the songs! She also lip sings when she doesnt know the words! She does this in church too sometimes! She is our little mysterious actress!

Life at Home
I havent posted in awhile, so I thought I'd post a little bit of what it like to be a stay at home mom.
First of all, I LOVE IT. I couldnt be any more thankful that God has allowed me to be home with the girls and has provided all of our needs for us!
What we do at home that is fun...
Play
do art crafts
color
A lot of dancing
Games; pretty pretty princess, candy land, and Go Fish
cook and bake
read books
jump on the bed(I know, its a "no no")
Make a lot of messes, but then work together in cleaning them up
Watch movies(usually while eating breakfast)
bath time or for Hadley splash in sink time
puzzles
do preschool games on the computer
A little bit of structured learning time until its no longer fun
And a lot more... too much to list!
What we do that is not so fun....
Laundry
Clean and organize
discipline
I'll repeat Laundry again!!!(a million times)
and I'll also repeat clean again! :)
