Mia's first cake

Mia made her very own 1st cake today for a special friends birthday! :)  She did a great job!

While Mianna was baking a cake and Grady was painting, I had Hadley keep Eli busy and out of the kitchen! They decided to build a fort with an large audience of stuffed animals :)

Easter 2014

OOPS! As I was hiding eggs, I thought what looked like a little shallow hole would be the perfect hiding spot, only to find out... it was a super deep hole! This is the girls trying to dig it out!

Hadley's 7th birthday

I can not believe Hadley is 7 already! 

She had a very special birthday. Friday she had a friend sleep over and we went to jumping country the out for subs(her favorite). Then Saturday we had donuts at the park. Then squeezed in some naps before a full night of fun with her cousins... more jumping!  :) Sunday we did donuts again... because I didn't have time to make birthday cinnamon rolls... Then we did dinner at Grandma and paps's and ice scream at DQ... a birthday tradition! :)

Decorating for Christmas

We finally went out and cut our tree down. Of course it had to be one of the coldest days so far, but we had to get our tree! So, we bundled up, went on our hay ride, quickly picked our tree, and hiked it back to the packed up! Then we visited the sheep and fed them. Then home for some hot cocoa, pizza, and decorating!

At the end of our decorating of the tree, we always take a family photo in front of it... only this time Grady wasn't too happy about that! ;)
