Sillyness

The other day, we were at target and let each of the kids pick something out in the 1$ section bc it was all 70% off. Mianna picked a coloring thing, Hadley picked a princess wand, and Grady picked a roll of wrapping paper. But it was not a roll of wrapping paper to him, it was a sword! We tried convincing him that the noise making animal was better, but he was set on the roll of wrapping paper!
Well, that roll of wrapping paper lasted so long before he figured out he could open it. And this is what the kids did when they opened it!

A special visitor

Andy's brother, Aaron came up for a visit Monday - Tuesday and he brought his sweet little daughter Camille. The kids just loved her and wanted to spend every min. with her. It took her a bit to warm up, but she started getting used them of course when it was about time for her to go. It was a special treat to have them visit! We don't get to see them enough!

Picking and cutting down our tree

Like every year, we went to a tree farm, got a hay ride, hiked in the woods to find our perfect tree, Andy cut it down, dragged it back to the wagon, and brought it home. The kids love that we do this! It makes the tree all that more special!

This year there were 3 adorable sheep we got to pet and feed.

This is Noel! She was our favorite! ;)

Decorating our Christmas tree

Now that we got our tree up, it was time to decorate it! The kids get an ornament every year so they enjoyed finding their own ornaments and remembering the year they got them.

Our of boredom, we also made our own ornaments out of the ornament hooks! ;)

This is Andy's ornament to me.... can you read it?

When theres Christmas tree decorating, theres always hot cocoa!

Andy decided it would be fun to put the kids in the Christmas tote and sled them down the steps! Boys will be boys!

And of course Mianna puts the top on every year! It's her special job! :D

Cookie baking day

My mom and sister and I had a cookie baking day the other wkd! It was a FULL day of cookie baking. I believe we started around 12ish or earlier and went until 8:30 pm! We made 7 different kinds of cookies. It was a lot of fun bonding with my sis and mom again! We don't get to do that enough!

Me, Holly, and Mom

Mom with flour in her face! We all took our turns! Holly started it with throwing flour in my face, then we got mom, then we got Holly! ;)

We had a lot of fun!

Busy at work!

Cookies, cookies, and more cookies!

AND MORE COOKIES ;)

This is what I got when I got home! Dad, sleeping on the floor in the hall, Grady sleeping on him, and Hadley sleeping in his arms. Mianna greeted me at the door. They wanted to wait until I got home to go to bed! It was a late night!

Hadley's Christmas program

Here are pics from Hadley's program! She did such a good job. You could see the fear in her face being her first time she's ever done something like this, but she did awesome and looked adorable! ;) Her class is really big compared to Mia's. The gym was overflowing with people. I felt really bad for Hadley... how intimidating that must have been with all those people! But she pulled it off and did her cute little songs up there!
