St. Patrick's Day

Wearing green is about the only way we contribute to St. Patrick's day. It's fun so why not !? ;)

Me and the kids

Not sure what is going on in this picture, but they are all so silly!

And you gotta have your goofy picture!

First attempt with no training wheels

The other day, Mianna wanted to try riding her bike with no training wheels for the very first time! So, Andy took them off and they tried! He never did get to let go. Just holding her up was enough of a try for her! She just wasn't having it! ;) Maybe next year ;)

Good effort

Trying trying trying

Looking a little unsure

OK - She's done! And she's perfectly content with that and so are we! :)

Needing daddy

Yesterday Andy was outside working on his car. Grady was out there for awhile, but then had to come in because he was getting too cold... according to mommy! But he couldn't handle it! He wanted so bad to go back out by daddy to help him fix his car! He was determined to figure out how to take the door apart! Unfortunately, it never did work ;)

Looking at daddy

Getting down to work trying to open the door

Still working

Gave up and decided to just lay by the door until daddy came in

Sledding

As much as I was ready for the snow to be over and spring to be here, the last snow fall was totally worth it! We got to go sledding for the first time this winter! The kids had a blast!!!! We only had 3 sleds and to our surprise, all 3 of them wanted to go alone every time. This meant not much for Andy and I. I guess it's time for some new sleds so we can go too! Last yr nobody would go alone! It was so awesome seeing how much fun they had! Their smiles are priceless! Mia was a very big sister also in taking care of Hadley and Grady when they went down the hill. She'd wait for them and carried Grady's sled up for him. Thanks God for your beautiful white fluffy snow that we get to enjoy!

Grady got a big lazy after awhile

Once everybody left, Andy stole a sled and ran for the bump! haha! It made his day, but not his back!

Our vacation to the Dells

Last wkd we took our yearly winter trip to the Dells. As always, it was a great time! A good break in between the winter months! We stayed at a hotel with a small waterpark since our kids don't like the big waterparks yet anyways. On Thursday-Saturday we had the waterpark all to ourselves. Nobody was there, but Saturday mid day got pretty busy being president's day today and all the kids have off school.

For dinner, we went to Buffalo Phil's where we receive our dinner on a train!
Always the kids' favorite place to eat!

The waterpark was super shallow which was perfect for Grady!
He is our little fish!

This is not supposed to be a water fountain to drink from!

And apparently he figured that out when it was a little too late!

Seeing the kids smile so much was awesome!

Mia loved to go in the big pool with her life jacket off. She could practice her swimming!

Grady learned how to swim all by himself with a life jacket on.
Before he would just flop over..
