Sleepy

When the kids wake up from naps, they are usually still very relaxed and like to snuggle or lounge around a bit. Just like there daddy ;)
They are all very attached to a blanket!

Rorabeck #4

Psalm 139:13
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.

About 4 months ago, I had a sure thought our family would stop growing with Grady being our baby. I didn't write it off as that only because I don't know the plans of God, but with how crazy our little man Grady is, I thought for sure this is all I could handle!
But on October 8th, we found out that God's plan for us was to have another child. I wont go into details, but this is clearly God's plan! Lets just say at 14 years old when my appendix burst, I was told that my chances to have any children are slim to none. And now at 28 years old, I am pregnant with my 4th child! Nothing can stop the plans of our Mighty God! My first thoughts were excitement knowing this was God's plan! But really? A 4th, can I handle a number 4? Philippians 4:13 reassures me that I can! "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." This is His plan, surely He will give me the strength I need! I rest knowing that!

We told the kids a few wks after we found out one night at dinner. This was the night before we were going to open the news to everybody. The next day was Grandparents day at Mia's school so Andy's parents were going to be coming into town. Mia promised she would not say anything during Grandparents day because we wanted to tell everybody together as a family. And with Mianna, we have no fear she'll blurt something out! She's the best secret teller. I didn't think Hadley or Grady would see anybody before we were all together, but it didn't work out that way. Andy's parents came and met me at our house, then we dropped Hadley and Grady off at a friends, then we went to Mia's school for Grandparents day. I was helping out that day.
Hadley is not like her big sister at all! When she gets somebody a gift, she tells them what it is right away. She can't keep a secret if her life depended on it! And sure enough, on our way to taking them to a friends house, she says, "mommy has a baby in her tummy!" I just chuckled a bit and changed the subject because I was not going to tell them without Andy. He was way too excited!
So the time came when we were all together and we told his parents. Well, they already knew! Apparently, I did not know this, but before Grandpa even got in the door, Hadley was yelling through the window, Mommy has a baby in her tummy! I was still upstairs getting ready And she repeated it numerous times that morning(the 10 min we had before taking her to a friends house)! What kid repeats something like that numerous times for no reason?! So, note to self... DO NOT tell Hadley a secret unless you want it told to everybody! ;) That's our Hadley! :D

So there it is, if you haven't heard, were having a baby! Praise God!

Psalm 127:3
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.

Waiting for Daddy to come home

Everyday, Grady sits at the window waiting for Daddy to get home from work! Lately as we've had a cornstalk in front of the house, we've had a regular visitor! He'd sit there forever watching that squirrel! But of course Daddy getting home was the highlight! I enjoy seeing the excitement in him seeing his daddy get home~ He sure loves his daddy :D

Raking

The other day it was so beautiful! Our little neighbor girl was outside raking her yard all by herself so the kids and I grabbed all the rakes we could and went and helped her! She was so excited she wanted an after picture too :)

Covered Bridge

With plans to take pictures of a family from church the next day, we decided to drive through covered bridge and scope out the potential they had! It was beautiful! Here are a few photos that the kids allowed me to take of them! It was not easy getting them to sit for the camera! Too much area to run around in! ;)

Grady spotted a bird and could not control himself ;)

Grandparent's Day

Another year of Grandparents day at Ozaukee Christian School and many more to come! Mianna always lights up when she gets to spend the afternoon with her grandparents! What a honor to be able to be there this year and watch it :)

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat! Is Halloween out of control? This year may be our last year of trick or treating! I enjoy the cute dressing up of the kids and seeing them light up when they get candy, but as Halloween is seeming to get uglier and uglier, Andy and I are debating whether we will contribute next year. We never participate in the the ugly's of Halloween, but no matter how much we try to stay away from it, theres no staying away from it when you leave the house. From creepy costumes to scary decorations... it is everywhere! We don't want Satan to get any glory by us participating in Halloween! I'm sure he gets enough by the people around us!
Our thoughts instead are to do something at our house such as carve our pumpkins or play a game and hand out candy. But are going to buy candy from a magazine that says Jesus Loves You or has a verse on it or something! Giving Jesus the Glory!

Here are some pictures of this years Halloween:
