Our memorial wkd in MN

Over Memorial wkd, we visited our friends Beth and Jason in MN. It was a blast. We had tons of fun! We left Thursday morning(my birthday) and Andy made me a special birthday adventure giving me clue's on hearts that led me to our destinations. Each destination we got to, he'd give me another clue! Very impressive and super sweet! This was prob. my favorite birthday ever!
Then we got to MN pretty late Thur. night and visited for awhile.
Friday we went to a free zoo and theme park! Then celebrated mine and Beth's birthdays that night.
Saturday we walked around a beautiful lake and made a pit stop to a fun book store where animals just got to walk around. The girls loved petting the kitty's! After our walk, we took naps, then went to a yummy Chinese restaurant, then over to Mall of America for some rides. Mia really enjoyed driving her very own car and did an amazing job steering!!! She earned her very own driver's license too! :) Andy and Jason braved the sponge bob ride. It was a crazy one... like the giant drop and a crazy roller coaster put together. After Mall of America we got pizza and a movie.
Sunday we went to a huge park and did a 4 person bike with the girls in front. It was tons of fun and lots of excercise. Then hiked down to view the beautiful waterfall. After our park adventures, we relaxed, cooked out, and made some smores.
Monday we headed home hitting up the Ferry again for some fun!
Overall we had an amazing adventurous wkd thanks to our friends! :)

It's a Boy!

Can you beleive I am already more than half way to baby day?! It is going fast!

A lot of you already probably know through word of mouth, but if you don't, were having a boy!

That's right, a boy! I'm still trying to get used to the whole idea of it all and Andy is just plain excited! All we have pink and purple in this house, so I suppose we better add some blue!

The ultra sound went great. Everything looked great! It is such a miracle to have a baby develop inside of me. Just to see how it looked a few months ago and now it has 10 fingers and 10 little toes and it can suck his thumb. It amazes me and even more so, God amazes me for his work!

At first we thought we might not be able to get a sneak peak of the sex. But then when the ultra sound tech was done with finding everything she needed to find, she had me move around a bit to get the baby to move because his legs were scrunched up and we couldn't see anything. At that moment unfortunately Andy had to leave because Hadley was being impatient. Then finally, baby boy decided to open is legs and there it was plain and clear. It was a little weird to see that after seeing two litle girls in the past! And I feel a bit weird to have a boy inside of me! But we are blessed to be getting a baby little boy. Andy didnt get to see so the ultra sound tech said she'd leave it up on the screen so i could show him. So I went to get him and he was like, What is that!? haha. Then after i pointed out the legs, etc, he saw it and he had a grin from ear to ear! :)

Baby's profile

Baby rubbing his eye

Baby's spine ( I had her check it out to see if it was straight because a lot of times Infantile scoliosis is genetic, but it's hard to see because the baby is so squished) She said it looks normal to her :)

Ps. The name will not be public info until baby is born! We don't have one picked yet. I think boy names are harder than girl names!

Happy 2nd Birthday Hadley!

I can't believe our baby girl is already 2! Goes way too fast!
Needless to say, Hadley had a great birthday! Last Saturday we met my sister and her family out in West Bend at a park for a picnic. After that we headed over to Shalom Wildlife Sanctuary to see all the animals! We got to go out on our own on a "bucky" cart(golf cart). We could take as long as we wanted or go as quick as we could. The whole tour took about 2 hours! They had little games for the kids set up a long the trails and then they got prizes as well! That made the tour really fun and interesting for them! They had a blast doing all the games and seeing all the animals and each got a turn to drive the "bucky" cart as well!
After a fun filled day, we headed to our house for a birthday gathering with my side of the family. The Rorabeck side will celebrate her birthday with her this wkd! The birthday fun just never ends :)

Happy Birthday Hadley! (Birthday Party)

After a fun filled day at the park and Shalom Wildlife Sanctuary, my family came over and we had a little party for her. I made her a Mickey and Minnie cake since that is what she wanted! She had a blast playing outside running around with all her cousins! Overall, she had a great birthday!
